When I was last posting on this board we thought Solomon might be deaf.We dove headlong in to research about what that meant. Thankfully the audiologist wasn't welltrained on handling hearing tests for babies and it turned out to be fluid in his ears. He doesn't even need the surgery to drain the fluid it's gone on its own. His growth in language acquisition has been beautiful. He's a big beautiful boy with all his senses. Breastfeeding has continued apace with no need for suplementation, I'm glad I didn't give up. He's one happy baby who bonded beautifully with his brother and sister over Christmas. Brandi, how's your little bundle Hannah doing? Tiffany

Thank The Gods. I wish him health, love and success in his life. So glad he's okay. And never give up. Beautiful that you've chosen to breastfeed too.

thank you everyone for the kind words and prayers. It means a lot. Yep, Solomon's brother is 18 and sister is 16. They're Bruce's kids from a prior marriage. Solomon's just about 6 months old. He has plenty of stubbornness and plenty of patience mixed together, if I keep that in mind everyone's happy. I didn't know babies get cuter everyday. We introduced him to a girl-baby a couple weeks back. People said he's too young and wouldn't get anythin out of it. Oh contrare, they stared at each other and started baby-talking,I swear they understand each other. He likes being on his tummy and can lift his head way up. He's reaching grabbing and pulling objects to himself. We don't baby talk him. The good audiologist we saw said that's the reason he caught up so quickly. We'd have done our best by him. Zak and Ariana both had language disorders when they were very small so Bruce knows about evaluations placement etc. They caught up too, Ariana is a fenominal violist and Zak is learning instrument repair. Look up Ariana Solotoff on youtube and you can hear her play. And now little-big-man is awake. Off to feed him. Huggs and blessings. Tiffany

Hey Tiff! Oh I am SO SO happy for Solomon! That's wonderful! Praise God! Hannah is still nursing like a pro. Tried pumping her a bottle awhile back and she refused it. Lol. Cheeky little monkey. We are so happy with the way our little family is turning out. So glad I stopped at two though. Lol. Nathaniel i2 almost 2.5 and Hannah just turned four months today! We HAVE to meet up someday.
